On the Third Day of Griefmas

On the Third day of Griefmas, my true love gave to me A Journal and some Pens I must admit, I had to get used to this concept. It felt a bit silly at first, a bit like homework. But, like grief, there is no right or wrong way to do this. Write what is in your heart. Journaling can be a great way to release those icky feelings. It can be a good tool to navigate Truths (I love my pet with all of my heart. I was THE BEST pet parent I could possibly be) vs Myths… the “coulda, woulda, shoulda’s and If only’s” You may want to add to your journal on a daily or weekly basis, or write in it when you are having a tough day. It can be private or something the family can contribute to. Mine is full of funny little moments that I didn’t want to forget
