On the Ninth Day of Griefmas

On the Ninth Day of Griefmas, my True love gave to me… Time to Relax

It’s a crazy busy time of the year. Allow yourself to take time out for yourself and relax.

Easy for you to say Tracey, you don’t have kids on school holidays!! Work is mental, and I have so many commitments!!

Start with five minutes, pour yourself a cup of yummy flavoured tea, or fruit infused water with ice. Sit, enjoy your drink, close your eyes, put your hand on your heart, breathe in for 5 seconds and out for 5 seconds. Take a moment for yourself.

The hustle and bustle will still be there, but it can wait for five minutes. And if you can’t handle all the Christmas carols at the shopping centre, noise canceling headphones are a game changer!!

You need to take time for yourself every now and then, otherwise your body will choose the time for you!

Listen to your body and pay attention to what it needs… sleep, hydration, water on your skin, chocolate!

We need to nurture ourselves at this important time
