Y - Yourself

Looking after yourself 

I know I sound repetitive, but putting yourself first is not selfish. It is essential. 

If you don’t look after yourself, you can’t look after others effectively. 

It sounds so cliche but it really is important. 

😴 Get some quality sleep.
🥗 Remember to eat, and try and eat a range of colours (eat the rainbow, and no, I don’t mean skittles 🌈) 
☀️ Get some fresh air and some vitamin D. 
🥤 Drink water and go easy on the caffeine and alcohol. 
🤗 Ask for a hug! Hugs are therapeutic, lower blood pressure and stress levels. 
🧘‍♀️ Exercise, yoga, meditation, walking, or a hobby that gets your body moving. 
💐 Treat yo’self. Buy something nice for yourself or do something nice for you. It could be a bunch of flowers, a pretty notebook from Kmart. Enjoy a bath, or catch up with a friend for coffee. Reading a book or Bingeing on Netflix is also looking after yourself. 💕
