Donations sent to Thailand
I was very lucky to have been given so many supplies to take over to Thailand on my recent holiday. I visited two shelters, one in Chiang Mai and one in Phuket. I managed to squeeze 15kg into a suitcase!!
I was pleasantly surprised to see how well cared for these animals were. Both charities rely on volunteers to feed, clean, walk and bath the dogs in their care. The kennel areas were clean and well maintained.
I got a tour from the Soi Dogs Phuket. Run by volunteers they have over 600 dogs and cats in their care and up for adoption.
Many of the dogs were missing an eye or a limb. But the smiles on their little faces! It was hard not to cry. I am so glad i got to visit and i know that the supplies we donated will be used well. I got some puppy kisses as a thank you 🐶👅
Special thanks to Provet WA, Central Bark Doggy Daycare, Morley Vetcentre and the other numerous individuals who gave me donations of flea medication, antibiotics, bandaging material, gloves, and other medications to help these poor little souls xx
